Its not about the Clothes!!!

How many hours do we spend in a day thinking and planning for the day??? I know for me there are some days when I will try on 5 different things before I end up putting back on the out fit I started with. And you know what I can spend hours getting ready, but that doesn't mean I won't have a bad day. But my awesome and super cute son reminded me that its not always about the clothes.

Here he is running around in his PJ's that are buttoned wrong (my fault) and he is having a blast. He doesn't care what about his clothes (he would be just as happy in a diaper or less). I love my Max moments.

I think God put that sweet boy in my life to remind me of the really important things in life. And what I wear to work or out and about is not at the top of the important list. Now I'm not saying blue jean PJ's all the time, but I'm also not going to hid out because my hair isn't done or the make up is well lacking. There is life to be lived and I don't want to miss a moment.

How to tell if a first date is a good one

How do you know when a first date is a good one???

12 years ago after a varsity football (SGHS vs RHS) Timmy had his friend come up and ask me if I had a date for homecoming. Well I had a date, but I was also interested in knowing who else was wanting to know so I said well not really. When Jeff told me Timmy was the one wanting to know I was really excited. I had talked to him a couple of times and there was just something sooooo sweet and special about him. So I went over and of course poked fun for asking me middle school style. And well that date must of been a good one because 6 years later on October 3, 2003 he asked me to go to the RHS homecoming football game with him. At this time he was the sports photographer for a newspaper in Rowlett and he had to cover the high school games. Well I was a little upset because well I was expecting a super romantic night that would end with me wearing a new ring because after all we had been together for 6 years. Well he picked me up for the game like 20 minutes before it started so we didn't even have time for dinner (if you know us you know we eat dinner by 5 not sure why its just something we have always done). Not only was I spending the evening watching Timmy work I had to eat dinner all by myself. Well we get to the game and he does his thing. The whole time he is working I am just sitting thinking really 6 years and all i get is a football game, so when he tells me he is done I am ready to get home and start a new day. We get to the front of the stadium where the drillteam warms up and he hands me his camera so that he can tie his shoe. So I am standing there looking around and telling him hurry I am ready to go. For some reason I realize it sure is taking him a long time to tie he shoe so I look down to tell him to hurry and thats when I see him. He is on one knee holding a ring and he then asks me "will you marry me?" OOOOOO I am so happy and so feeling bad for getting so mad. Had asked me to marry him in the same exact spot he first asked me out 6 years earlier. And he told me after that the reason why he didn't take me to dinner was because he was so nervous. So I would say our first date was a good one. :)

I love you Timmy. You are the love of my life and I am so thankful for every moment I have with you.

Laundry is not creative

Really how much laundry can 2 1/2 people have????

I don't know about you guys, but I have to make house work fun and interactive in order to do it. So I go into a make believe world and take on all kinds of roles. This is something that I have been doing since I was a kid. Yeah I was that little girl that had not just one imaginary friend but a whole gang. And I know many of you do the same thing so don't judge :)

When I am cooking I take on the role of Ms. Paula Deen herself. I talk things out as I am cooking and yes I even fan the smell of the food towards the pretend camera so that my views can smell what I am smelling. Which by the way why do cooks fan the smell to the camera don't they know we do not have smellavision.

When I am sweeping I am a rockstar!!! Yes I dance around and the broom is my microphone. If you ask me I am the next big thing!!!

Then when it is time to vacuum I put on the pretend heels and I enter the dance floor to show off my skills on Dancing with the Stars. I have never actually partner danced in real life, but girls I can kick it with the vacuum :) The said thing is the vacuum is more like to be the Star out of the two of us :(

When I do dishes I take on the role of the poor all alone dish maid. So as I scrub I bust out in song (most of the time I make up the words as I go). The only problem with this is sometimes I get so caught up in the song and acting I forget to actually wash the dishes, so dishes tend to take longer then they should.

Then when it comes to laundry I lose all my creativity :( I just can not get into character. So I am sending out in S.O.S. for creative ways to get through LAUNDRY TIME!!!!

Thanks for listening to my venting and if you ever show up unannounced be prepared to see a different side of Stacey :)

My Boys

I have hit the jackpot when it comes to the Timmys. My boys are the best!!! Thanks to the sweet Lord I have the best husband ever. Timothy Max Watson Sr. is so awesome. Timmy has been the love of my life for 12 years. Every moment with him is a moment I cherish. At the start of our relationship we fought and fought, but there was something about him. And now I can't remember life with out him. He is the first thing I think of when I wake up and the last thing on my mind when I go to sleep. Timothy Max Watson is the love of my life. And because of that love we now have Timothy Max Watson Jr. My sweet baby boy is my gift from God. Max is the best baby ever. From the moment I heard I was having a baby I was filled with joy and happiness. Then once i looked in his eyes I was hooked. Every time he looks at me and smiles or yells momma I just melt. I still can not believe a homecoming date 12 years ago this coming month would lead to such wonderful things.

So to my Timmys . . .

I love you guys so much and I am thankful for all the joy and love that both of you have brought into my life. You two are the greatest!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS TONS!!!

SCHOOL!!!!

Well this year has been am interesting one and we are only 5 weeks into the school year. There have been a ton of ups and downs and a million tears. HOwever today was the first day that I had a good time at work and did not feel overwhelmed. I was in my groove and it felt great.

I have decided to take things day by day and I have to remind myself that I can only do what I can which is my best. Being a teacher is something that I have always wanted to do, so I need to do whatever it takes so that I enjoy my job again.

Thanks to all of my girls that have been praying for me with all the work drama. I can feel all of your love in prayers!!!

TIME!!!!

The older I get the faster time goes by. I remember when I was a kid I thought the weekend was the longest part of the week, but know I spend the whole week thinking the weekend will never get here. And once it is here it is gone in a flash.

TIME . . .the one thing we can not get on Ebay or Craig's List
