Trick or Treat

Tonight we dressed Max up, met up with some friends and took the kids out to beg for candy.

The night started off with meeting up with friends. As everyone was starting to arrive the kids greeted each other and admired all the fun costumes. It is so fun to watch these little guys interact.

Once everyone had arrived we decided to get a group picture while the sun was still out.

Here is group picture take #1
Aaron had to catch the run away mouse

Group picture take #2
The mouse is one the run again

Group Picture take #3
O no where did the mouse go???

Group picture take #??? who knows we lost count
The mouse is back, the dragon fly is missing and Max has declared he is a hobo!!!

Group picture #187 (give or take a couple)
All this posing is making them tired

Since the group photo didn't turn out as planned we decided to bring the parents in on the photo to see if that helps keep the kids focused.

We got the group photo now its time to get some candy

House #1 these boys were not shy

Max is ready to get some more candy so he makes a dash for house #2
Max is one picky Hobo. The guy gave Max a candy and he decided he wanted to exchange it for something different. So yes that is my son digging through the bucket to get a grasp of his options before deciding.

max got some more candy and now he is ready for the next house
Max is so excited he literally runs from house to house. Timmy had to wrestle him to the ground to get him to slow down and wait for the rest of the crew

This was a super fun night and I think all the kiddos had a blast. I am so thankful that Max has such a great group of friends to share these moments with.

Pumpkin Carving Time

This is the first year Max is big enough to help Tim carve a pumpkin. Tim was so excited to be able to share this experience with his son. Max thought it was fun to be able to draw on the pumpkin.

Max thought once the face was drawn on the project was done.
He was not to willing to help clean the pumpkin out. Max thought the pumpkin guts were a little gross. Every time Tim tried to get Max to help he would run off and yell grosssssss.
Once all the pumpkin guts were out he was more than happy to start helping Daddy out again. Max thought it was super fun to poke the eyes out of the pumpkin.
Here are the finished products. Timmy made a monster or a germ and Max made a smiley face.

Life Group Halloween Party

The life group Halloween party is so much fun every year. This year was just as much fun. We did however show up an hour and a half late. Tim was in charge of checking the email for time and directions, but its all good he got the directions right at least :)

Since I am so big this year we decided to dress up as a tourists. This way I could wear my fat girl pants and hide my belly behind one of his old cameras.

Max dressed up as a HOBO!!!

Here we are with some of the others that dressed up too!!!

Tonight was fun. I always love getting together with our friends and their kiddos.

Hays 5k 2010

Today is the Hays 5k!!! This is our one and only fun raiser of the year and there is so much work that goes into making it a success. The PTA and the teachers that run this are amazing and all their hard work really paid off. We had a dunking booth and so many businesses from the community there to show their support.

The morning started off a little cold, but as the sun came up it warmed up and we had a ton of runners. Timmy came and did a photo booth and the kids seemed to really love it. Since I am off and on bed rest I was not able to take part in the 5k or 1 mile, but I still had fun.

Kayla and I having fun watching the dunking booth!!!

Timmy let me crave the pumpkin, but he was nervous. After a couple of cuts he was ready for me to hand the craving knife back over to him.

Jared said he was getting his drink a drink for someone else, but no one was claiming the extra drink. It looks like Jared saved himself a trip :)
